What Rotate PDF does

Rotate PDF turns pages that were scanned sideways or upside down, without re-rendering them. The rotation is written into the page geometry, so the text stays selectable and the file size barely changes — unlike the common workaround of screenshotting a page and re-inserting it.

How to rotate pdf

  1. Select the PDF.
  2. Use the rotate control on each file card to queue a clockwise turn.
  3. Press Rotate PDF and download the corrected document.

Privacy

The rotation is applied to the document structure in the tab and the new bytes are downloaded. No upload.

Questions

Does rotating change the file size?

Only marginally. The page content is not re-encoded; the rotation is recorded in the page structure.

Will the text still be selectable?

Yes. Unlike rasterising, rotation preserves the original text layer.

Can I rotate only some pages?

The rotation applies to the pages you queue it on; all pages of a selected file rotate together in this version.
