What Photo editor does

Photo editor is a full retouching surface in the browser tab: filters, brightness and contrast, rotation, crop, drawing, text and shapes, plus frame and background controls. It exists for the case where you need to adjust one image and do not want to install an application or upload a personal photo to a web service to do it.

How to photo editor

  1. Select an image to edit.
  2. Work through the tabs — filters, crop, transform, draw, text, shapes.
  3. Press Save to render and download the finished image.

Privacy

Editing happens entirely on-device. A personal photograph is never transmitted.

Questions

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Every adjustment is applied to a canvas in the tab.

Can I undo a change?

Yes, the editor keeps a history you can step back through.

Why does the preview slow down as I add adjustments?

Each change replays the full stack of operations. With many adjustments on a large photo, the preview deliberately trades speed for accuracy.
