What Crop PDF does

Crop PDF trims the margins from every page by adjusting the visible page box. That is the right way to crop a PDF: rather than rasterising the page and cutting pixels, it changes what the viewer displays, so the file stays small and the text stays sharp and selectable.

How to crop pdf

Questions

Does cropping delete the trimmed content?

It becomes invisible rather than deleted — the crop box defines what is shown, which is how PDF cropping is defined. That keeps the operation reversible and lossless.

Will the text stay selectable?

Yes. Nothing is re-rendered.

Can I crop to an exact size?

The panel trims by margin, which covers the usual case of removing scanner borders.
